Bigger, Better, Faster
Is your company or project growing and you could use the extra repositories, users or disk space? We will grow with you!
Upgrading your account is easy and doesn’t require you to stop coding or pause your project. Here are a few pointers in order to make your transition smooth and fast.
1. Decide what plan you want to upgrade to.
On our pricing & signup page you can find an overview of the available SVN hosting plans. The plans differ in 4 ways:
- Disk space
- Repositories
- Users
- Traffic
Are you having trouble deciding which plan would suit your new situation the best? Do not hesitate to contact our responsive support team which will be more than happy to help you pick the right plan.
2. Inform us by email
You know what plan you would like to upgrade to, now it’s time to inform us. Head over to our contact page and shoot us a message.
It really helps us speed things up if you use the same email address as the one you signed up with. This way we can identify you as a client and put the upgrade into motion.
3. Keep on coding
We will upgrade your hosting solution for you. In the mean time you can keep writing great lines of code. We will lift the restrictions so you get the extra disk space, repositories and users that you need.
After the upgrade is complete we will send you an invoice for the price difference between the packages. For example:
John from ExcellentCode has been using the Small hosting solution for 7 months now. The invoice he received after signing up was for the full 12 months ahead. John now wants to upgrade to the Medium plan since he has a few new developers on the team, so he has outgrown the user restriction of the smaller package. John informs us by email and receives a confirmation of his upgrade. He can immediately create the extra users and let his new developers start coding. The price difference between the Small and Medium package is €5. Since there is only 5 months left on his contract, John will receive an additional invoice for €25 (5 months of €5 price difference).
Need a smaller package?
With time your needs or requirements might change. Downgrading to a smaller SVN hosting plan is easy. If you are ready to downgrade, you can follow this step by step guide on downgrading to a smaller SVN package.
Subscription period & refunds
We use 12 month subscription periods for our hosting plans in order to offer our competitive pricing model. This means that downgrades can only be performed at the end of your subscription period. Unfortunately we do not offer refunds for downgrades.
Do you need more of everything?
Not every project or company can fit into our standard hosting plans, we would still love to help you find the right solution though.
We offer dedicated SVN hosting solutions for bigger projects that just need those extra users, repositories and disk space. If you want to find out what we can do for you, why not send us an email.
