Default Trac e-mail notification settings
Receiving e-mail notifications from Trac tickets can be customized to the user’s preferences.
By default, your Trac notification e-mails for tickets is turned off. However, if you do wish to receive these notifications, there are two possible solutions available.
Turning on ticket specific e-mail notifications
As a user, you can turn on e-mail notifications for each specific ticket. This option prevents your inbox from overflowing, but still allows you to stay updated on tickets you want to keep a close eye on via your inbox.
If you would like to receive e-mails about a certain ticket, all you need to do is fill out your e-mail address in the CC field. This can be done while you create or edit a ticket.
Once you’ve filled out your e-mail address, you will receive e-mail notifications every time that particular Trac ticket is modified.
Turning on all Trac e-mail notifications
Some users prefer to receive e-mail notifications for every Trac ticket they have. This can be useful if you want to set up a dedicated e-mail for all of your Trac tickets or if you just like to be on top of things.
If you want to turn on e-mail notifications for all Trac tickets, simply send an e-mail to our very responsive helpdesk. To help speed up the process, please include the e-mail address(es) that you would like to receive your Trac notifications on.
