What is version control?
Can you remember the last time you had to work on one file with several people? Remember how you had to reverse engineer an undocumented bug? Remember how software projects go berserk when planned uncarefully? It happens a lot. Unless you use version control.
Every project - be it website frontends or any kind of software - needs version control. Subversion is the best tool around to help you manage your code. Slik Subversion delivers simple and very affordable Subversion hosting.

- Slik SVN 1.8.9 Windows binaries now available
- Slik Subversion 1.8.9 has been released. The Slik SVN command-line package has been updated.
Download the installer now, or check the change log.
The conservative and the adventurous can also find Subversion 1.7.17 and 1.9.0-alpha2 installers in our pub directory.
All installers contain new OpenSSL libraries with fixes for the Heartbleed problem.
Note: From 2014 on, the binaries are built with Visual Studio 2010 instead of 2008. The bundled C runtime (CRT) has been updated as well, and some DLL names have changed slightly. The CRT upgrade might cause problems for other applications that incorrectly depend on the VS 2008 runtime being present without bundling it themselves. In that case, installing the Microsoft CRT redistributable may help. 2014-05-15, 14:45
